Communications Department This department is responsible for assisting in the communications between staff and players, and among players themselves, outside the game. Members of this department will function as moderators on our public forums and chat channel. The department will also handle our suggestions and bugs gatekeeping functions, so make sure that ideas and bugs discussed among players reach staff in a clear, summarized manner. Resources Department This department is responsible for the organisation of raw materials in Cantr. This includes managing the list of raw material types and the locations of the different resources. The basic aim should be stimulating an interesting economy. The resources department works closely together with the programming department in managing the list of manufacturable objects in the game. The animals subdepartment will be responsible for the management of the list of animals in the same way as the whole department is for raw materials. Administrative Support Department This department will contain all staff members that perform tasks to support the Game Administration Council and other departments. This department will have no chair and will be directed by the Game Administration Board. The Personnel Officer is responsible for spotting problems among the Cantr staff and will handle applications for staff positions. Public Relations Department This department is responsible for establishing policies regarding the moderation of Cantr's satellite resources (forum, wiki, irc, webzine), maintaining these resources in order to best promote the free exchange of ideas between the players, promoting Cantr in order to gain more players, and, if needed, soliciting funds from the players to pay for Cantr's costs. It is a very diverse department, requiring staff of many different talents - moderators, marketers, wiki administrators, webzine editors, and website designers, in all of Cantr's languages, are desired.
